Hi, good evening. It's mid night again and time to upload my card for challenges.

This week, I would like to create a card with inspiration from Shabby Tea Room (STR) and Top Tip Tuesday (TTT). STR wants us to create a crad with "Relax and Enjoy" theme and using "YELLOW, PINK, GREEN AND ANY NEUTRALS ", while TTT would like to see a girlie card.

This time, I would like to use a sketch for my design. Wow...this is the first time to enter sketch challenge blog. So exciting to try new things :=)

Here is my card:

  • A baby card for new arrival girl

  • Sentiment was stamped twice with different shades of color to create a 3D effect

  • I really love those little chipboard dresses. I have added a layer of glossy accent to protect the glittering surface.

  • Faux buttons - stamped and embrossed

  • Inside of the card

I have entered the card to the following challenges:

1. The shabby tea room week 72 (relax and enjoy, using pink, yellow, green and neutrals)
2. Top tip tuesday (make it girlie)
3.Mojo Monday#201
4. Cup cake craft challenges #152 (shabby sparkle)

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, welcome to my blog! It was so encouraging to see all your comments on my last post !!! Thank you very much :=D

Tonite, I would like to share a new card.

SSIS wants us to create a card or project that depicts the sharp contrast of black & white or ivory.

Sometimes, God wants us to do things in the opposite direction, usually we don't understand in the very begining. When we see the final results, we know God's way is the best!

It seems that it is the first time for me to use only black and white. It's so fun in the process, hope you would like my trial :=>

  • I use different borders to create the background.

  •  My favourite sentiment

  • Inside of the card

  • Handmade flower as decoration

Thank you for stopping by. Have a good day!!!

Love card - home sweet home

Hi, Welcome to my blog! Today I would like to share a new card. I have bought a couple of stamps early this year, but never used it. So, I plan to use it one by one.

My cards are inspired by several challenge blogs. This week Stampin' Sisters in Christ (SSIC) wants us to create a card that has something moving on it.

This is the inspirational photo from shabby tea room this week. Looking at this colorful bracelet, together with this week inspirational scripture from SSIC:

2 Samuel 6:14 “And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod.”

I would like to create a card with a joyful, warm and full of love atmosphere.

Top tip Tuesday and Creative craft challenge wants us to create a "shaped card" and "3D card". I just try to incorporate these elements onto my card.

Here is my take:

a house shape card - the boy is looking for his special one...

the lock and key charms

the key charm is decorated with a bunch of flowers

It is the moving part of the card, just pulling the flower  key....

The door is opening....

A girl is inside the house and sending him a sweet message :=)

the welcome sentiment is stamped on a piece of wood

Inside of the card: you can write message on the yellow page, what's  that over the green page?
(It's the 3D part of the card)

by pulling the string on top...

It's a stage! The ending is...The couple is living happily forever :=)

side view of the stage

back of the card is decorated with a bird image

TIPS: The technique of opening the door can also be used for opening a jar, opening a box, opening a hat, opening a cooking pan, opening a fridge...anything you can think of!!!

Hi, everybody. It's a nice and relaxing sunday morning. I would like to share with you a girly card. It's totally different from my original sketch. But it is the most funny thing in card making process. You never know the final outcome until the last minute!

Hi, Good night! It is mid-night here. Longing to create a card with Christian theme for long time.

When I came across the Stampin Sisters in Christ blog, I know I will have lots of ideas from there.

This week's scripture is Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God.''

I was so touched by this verse and wanted to create a card immediately.

Lots of things come across my mind: dark room, a comfortable chair for rest/be still, quiet atmosphere, lighting...

I searched the materials through my papercraft trash and made this card finally:

It's really difficult to make it a CAS (clean and simple) style as I have lots of things to display. I remind myself to stop adding things on it. Hope it is still be CAS style and matching the blog theme.

Inside the card, there is a complementary note.

The original brads are purple in color, I painted with acrylic metalic paint, which is so match with my card.
