Wedding card series - wedding dress

| | | 12 comments
Hi...This card is totally inspired by this week's the shabby tea room. I choose to create a wedding card this time. I have thought of several ways to present the chevrons pattern...but still not satisfy...

Luckily, after some trials and errors, I find a way to display all the elements. I am using creamy ribbon to create the chevrons pattern on the wedding gown. I have made 2 little blue flowers using ribbons again. The leaves and the frame are in green color. The sentiment was stamped on an orange tag. Lastly, the brown dollies as decoration.

Hope you like it:

3D projects - baby shoe box

Hi, my friend asked me to create a gift for newborn baby. She especially asked for something 3D and more complex. Eventually, I came up with these and I like the littel shoes so much. Well...I have tested the magnets, they are very strong. And it would be very good to see those little shoes on your fridge!

Tips: I have sprayed a layer of clear fixative onto the pattern paper before making the little shoes, the moisture-proof fixative allow the magnets become more durable.

Hi...I have been quiet on the blog for the past 2 weeks, but I am still working on my handmade stuff. First of all, I would like to share a happy news - my card has won the Top 3 from Simply Create. Thanks for the designer team!!!

This time, I am using the vertical sketch challenge from moxie fab world and created 2 totally different styles of cards.

Inspiration photo from the Shabby Tea Room

Hi...another new card this week, this card is inspired by Shabby Tea Room of using a tea theme with blue and green. I have seen alot of teapot cards among the crafting world. It's one of the hot theme to create on. But suprisingly, I haven't made one by myself!!! So, I looked up all my stamps and digi to find the tea theme elements.  It's always a fun to look for "pearls" over your treasure box.

This week, Stampin' Sister in Christ wants us to use something from your stash that you 'just had to have' cause you would use it everyday....but have forgotten about...

Actually, I am a kind of "tea-holic" person, need a cup of tea every morning. But I haven't made anything out of my favourite! I think the creation of this card just fit the theme of SSIC :=)

Heehee...I like the flower very much, because it was the wrapping paper of a pair of new shoes. I think the pattern is quite nice, so I keep it till now and turn it into a flower. The sentiment and the cup image was stamped on a piece of tracing paper and I tear it to create a more casual look. Hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by :=)

I enter my card to the following challenges:
The Shabby Tea Room (Tea for 2, using tea theme with blue and green)
Stampin Sisters in Christ (Just had to have, but forgotten...)
Cup cake craft challenges (stitching, the blue DP was stitched onto the green DP)

Sir stamp alot challenge (whatever you fancy)

Hi, good evening. It's mid night again and time to upload my card for challenges.

This week, I would like to create a card with inspiration from Shabby Tea Room (STR) and Top Tip Tuesday (TTT). STR wants us to create a crad with "Relax and Enjoy" theme and using "YELLOW, PINK, GREEN AND ANY NEUTRALS ", while TTT would like to see a girlie card.

This time, I would like to use a sketch for my design. Wow...this is the first time to enter sketch challenge blog. So exciting to try new things :=)

Here is my card:

  • A baby card for new arrival girl

  • Sentiment was stamped twice with different shades of color to create a 3D effect

  • I really love those little chipboard dresses. I have added a layer of glossy accent to protect the glittering surface.

  • Faux buttons - stamped and embrossed

  • Inside of the card

I have entered the card to the following challenges:

1. The shabby tea room week 72 (relax and enjoy, using pink, yellow, green and neutrals)
2. Top tip tuesday (make it girlie)
3.Mojo Monday#201
4. Cup cake craft challenges #152 (shabby sparkle)

Hi, welcome to my blog! It was so encouraging to see all your comments on my last post !!! Thank you very much :=D

Tonite, I would like to share a new card.

SSIS wants us to create a card or project that depicts the sharp contrast of black & white or ivory.

Sometimes, God wants us to do things in the opposite direction, usually we don't understand in the very begining. When we see the final results, we know God's way is the best!

It seems that it is the first time for me to use only black and white. It's so fun in the process, hope you would like my trial :=>

  • I use different borders to create the background.

  •  My favourite sentiment

  • Inside of the card

  • Handmade flower as decoration

Love card - home sweet home

Hi, Welcome to my blog! Today I would like to share a new card. I have bought a couple of stamps early this year, but never used it. So, I plan to use it one by one.

My cards are inspired by several challenge blogs. This week Stampin' Sisters in Christ (SSIC) wants us to create a card that has something moving on it.

This is the inspirational photo from shabby tea room this week. Looking at this colorful bracelet, together with this week inspirational scripture from SSIC:

2 Samuel 6:14 “And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod.”

I would like to create a card with a joyful, warm and full of love atmosphere.

Top tip Tuesday and Creative craft challenge wants us to create a "shaped card" and "3D card". I just try to incorporate these elements onto my card.

Here is my take:

a house shape card - the boy is looking for his special one...

the lock and key charms

the key charm is decorated with a bunch of flowers

It is the moving part of the card, just pulling the flower  key....

The door is opening....

A girl is inside the house and sending him a sweet message :=)

the welcome sentiment is stamped on a piece of wood

Inside of the card: you can write message on the yellow page, what's  that over the green page?
(It's the 3D part of the card)

by pulling the string on top...

It's a stage! The ending is...The couple is living happily forever :=)

side view of the stage

back of the card is decorated with a bird image

TIPS: The technique of opening the door can also be used for opening a jar, opening a box, opening a hat, opening a cooking pan, opening a fridge...anything you can think of!!!
